We Asians adore boba milk tea and consequently, the bubble tea phenomenon has exploded globally, converting millions of new fans all around the world to the glorious beverage, even in the US as well. For this California-based bubble tea shop, T4 Boba, they recently suffered from a break-in but decided to have some fun with the robber, painting the situation as a man who took his boba tea addiction a little too far.

According to this tongue-in-cheek announcement by T4 Boba, they said that the man broke in at 3am because he wanted to “get some of that sweet boba goodness” and mentioned that he was so “frustrated” that there was no more boba tea that he made off with the cash register instead.

T4 Boba released the statement after the break-in on Sunday night, posting it on their door with a picture of the man caught on security cameras. “This guy couldn’t wait for his boba fix and decided to come in at 3 am to make himself a milk tea. Unfortunately for him, we brew our tea fresh every day and don’t keep anything overnight,” the cheeky note read. “Out of frustration, he decided to take our empty cash register.” The picture attached shows the man holding the cash register, walking away, unaware that there is no money inside.

The T4 crew continues to show their bubbly sense of humor, ending the statement in a pretty good-nature way and showing the thief some graceful understanding. “If you see this guy, please kindly tell him to return the register and we will give him a fresh cup of boba milk tea. With love, Downtown T4 Crew.”

Netizens were absolutely entertained by the entire fiasco, as many sympathized with the man’s “craving fueled” heist.

We really have to salute T4 for their great sense of humor even after the robber took their cash register and hope our misguided antihero returns the register and gets himself some re conciliatory boba.

Thankfully for the rest of us, there’s always 7-Eleven’s 24-hour bubble milk tea.

Two other men tried to help the victim, as his mouth started bleeding profusely as well but they could not do much. One of them poured water in his mouth in a bid to calm down the man but to no avail.

A distress call was made but by the time the emergency medical personnel arrived at the scene half an hour later, it was already too late to do anything. Unfortunately, the man passed away and was declared dead at the scene. It is unclear what caused the man to suffer from a seizure but according to the person who recorded the video, they mentioned that it was caused by drugs but this has not been verified.

Meanwhile, netizens who saw the video were equally shocked by the tragic incident. Some of them who felt that the seizure was triggered by drugs advised others not to touch drugs while those who felt that it was due to other causes gave advice on how to help someone who was having a seizure.

Contrary to popular belief, it is not advisable to stuff something in a person’s mouth when they are having a seizure as this may injure their teeth or jaw. Instead, you should turn the person gently onto one side to help them breathe, as reported by CDC and always call emergency services if you feel something is not right.

March 12, 2019 | Info, News | No Comments

Life deals a fair share of blows to all of us, but sometimes, it may be too much to take, leading some of us to resort to drastic measures.

A 22-year-old Swedish girl studying in Penang met an all too early end after she jumped to her death from a condominium.

Eyewitnesses, who were at the pool of the Sri York condominium the night the tragedy happened told police they had first seen the victim, Mrida Kaul, dancing without clothes on in her room while blasting sad songs.

Afterward, she took a bag of rubbish and threw it out from the fourth-floor unit, at 8:45pm on March 9, Saturday, reports Oriental Daily.

Not long after that, she leaped from her house and died on the spot. A security guard there spotted her body and placed an emergency call to the police.

Upon their arrival, Police also broke into the victim’s room with help from the fire and rescue department and found her belongings scattered all over the floor.

A good friend of Kaul’s told police that Kaul’s boyfriend had cheated on her, and the latter had found someone new, which left her distraught.

She also revealed that there had been a disagreement between Kaul and her housemate – who was in Subang at the time – and she had felt more depressed than ever after failing her exams.

She must have felt so helpless during those dark days! Upon further investigation, northeast district police chief Asst. Commissioner Che Zaimani Che Awang told the press that no injuries apart from the ones inflicted by the fall had been found, and that the case had been classified as sudden death, since there was no evidence of foul play.

Users who are temporarily banned from WhatsApp will get an in-app message informing them of their ban and the only way to have the account unbanned is to switch back to the official version of WhatsApp.

These third-party versions of WhatsApp offer additional features to users, like theming options or emojis.

The FAQ page on the WhatsApp website states that the third-party apps – such as WhatsApp Plus and GB WhatsApp – violate WhatsApp’s terms of service and that WhatsApp does not support these apps because they are not able to validate their security practices.

The FAQ suggests that users back up their chat history in the modded app before going back to the official one.

Recently, a video went viral on social media and netizens were shocked to see what looked like a man bathing in a water tank that was located above a mamak in Pekan Sungai Besi.

According to Sinar Harian, the short 16-second video was widely circulated online as netizens were grossed out by the unidentified man’s actions – after all, it was believed that the water tank is used by the mamak located below. If that’s true, then it’s really unhygienic!

Based on the video footage of the incident, the man looks like he is playing with the water in the tank. Apparently, the video was captured by some employees who were working at the opposite building and they saw the astonishing incident when they were taking a smoke break.

The caption said, “It looks like you (the man in the water tank) are having fun inside. Do you think the water tank is a swimming pool? That looks really unsanitary.”

Posted by Raja Lepak on Khamis, 7 Mac 2019

Netizens who saw the video were understandably grossed out by the man’s actions. Many of them criticised the man while some of them said that the mamak should investigate the incident to determine whether the water tank was still in use.

A few netizens said that the man might have been cleaning or servicing the water tank and some said that the tank may have been connected to the toilet and not used for cooking.

Hopefully, the mamak can clear up the matter and reassure their customers that the man was not doing anything unsavoury inside the tank!
