Cara bajet guna penghawa dingin

August 20, 2019 | Tech | No Comments

1. Beli aircond pada HP yang mencukupi. Lebihkan sikit HP

Cara kiraan dia (luas kawasan bilik x 60) / 9000. Contoh untuk bilik yang saiz 12’x10’. [(12’x10’) x 60] / 9000 = 0.8HP.

© Provided by FMT MEDIA SDN BHD2.

4. Jangan selalu “on” dan “off”

Malaysians, the day you’ve been dreaming for has finally arrived.

You can finally order food and pay for them via WeChat whenever you’re at a Mamak. For those who’re unfamiliar, Mamak is a local eatery often frequented by Malaysians for its affordable and yummy food.

While Malaysians had a first taste of how the app worked when it was demonstrated at Syed Bistro during a special WeChat Malaysia event in March, folks can now do the same nationwide.

Thanks to a brand new feature called SmartOrder, patrons simply have to scan the QR code on their table, order their food from the list of menu, submit and pay.

The entire process takes between a minute to ten. Ten for those who take eons to decide on what to eat.

Patrons can finally kiss goodbye to the days when you had to grab the attention of the waiter to take your order – which can take eons as well if the restaurant is packed.

If you’ve downloaded the app and you’re in Malaysia, we’ve got news for you. You’ll be eligible for discounts if you purchase food from the F&B outlets which support the feature.

Currently, there are 44 outlets located in the Klang Valley, Melaka, Johor, Penang, and Perak according to Lowyat.NET.

Here’s hoping other outlets elsewhere begin adopting the feature.

Have you ever taken a beautiful picture only to find that someone was in the background and it totally screwed up your perfect shot?

Be annoyed no more! Bye Bye Camera is an app which can remove humans from your photos.

Created by the wacky artist Damjanski who is best known for ‘Humans not invited‘ – a CAPTCHA that detects if you’re a human rather than a bot.

Bye Bye Camera utilizes You Only Look Once or YOLO, an object classifier that can detect a person and intelligently mask them out of a picture. It will then try to touch up the picture to make it seem like nothing was removed from the image.

Basically, an automated ‘Photoshop out this person’ tool.

Damjanski told Artnome it’s “an app for the post-human era… The app takes out the vanity of any selfie and also the person.”

Yes, if you use this app on your selfies, it will remove you as well.

The app is obviously not perfect. Sometimes, it tends to remove other objects that it finds hard to fix. And it also wonky at times when touching up the image.

Bye Bye Camera begs larger and deeper questions on the existence of humans: Why are we here, what will the world be without humans, and are we necessary in this universe.

But to simplify it, you can get rid of your annoying friends and colleagues from your photos, and that’s all that matters.

Bye Bye camera is only available on iOS.

E3 2019 has come to a close, and it’s been another wild week of gaming news. There were big reveals, flashy press conferences, cool trailers, and even a glimpse of how the future of gaming could change in the years to come. And whether you were out on the show floor or watching from home, there was a ton of news to try to follow. So, in case you got lost along the way, here’s the most important stuff that was announced.

With Sony skipping E3 and Nintendo doing its usual pre-taped Direct, Microsoft was the only one of the three major console makers to hold a tradition press conference. And the biggest news there was the first details on Project Scarlett, the company’s next-generation Xbox console, set to launch holiday 2020 with 8K gaming, support for 120 fps frame rates in games, ray tracing, and an optical drivealong with backwards compatibility for the last three generations of Xbox consoles. Oh, and a new trailer for Halo Infinite, which will launch alongside Scarlett.

If there was one trend of E3 2019, it was the emphasis on streaming services as the next big thing for gaming. Starting with Google’s pre-E3 Stadia reveal, Microsoft’s slightly confused xCloud serviceUbisoft’s new UPlay Plus subscriptionBethesda optimizing its games for cloud streaming, and rumors of a Square Enix servicethe race to become the new “Netflix for games” is clearly on. With the first of these services set to launch later this year, we’ll get to see for ourselves how these promises actually hold up in the real world, but the idea of being able to play any game anywhere does sound appealing.

Zelda fans went into Nintendo’s press conference confident that we’d be getting more information on the upcoming Link’s Awakening remake and the Zelda-themed Crypt of the NecroDancer spinoff, but no one could have expected this: the announcement of a full-fledged sequel to Breath of the Wild. And unlike some of Nintendo’s other long-term projects (like Metroid Prime 4, still a no-show), the company didn’t just flash a logo and call it a day — there was an actual trailer for the sequel, too. There’s no word yet on a release date, but expectations are already sky-high.

There was some bad news at Nintendo’s announcement, though: Animal Crossing: New Horizons, the anticipated Switch debut of the series, has been pushed back from a holiday 2019 release to March 20th, 2020. As a consolation prize, Nintendo did have the first gameplay trailer for New Horizons, which looks to add a new crafting element to the series. And even without Animal Crossing, Nintendo still seems to have an incredible holiday lineup this year, with Pokémon Sword and ShieldLuigi’s Mansion 3and The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening remake.

EA was surprisingly light on news at E3 this year, with most of its focus falling on Respawn’s new, single-player Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. After the lackluster Battlefrontreboot, the PR disaster that was Battlefront II’s loot box scandal, and the public collapse of the Amy Hennig-led Visceral Games title, the company hasn’t had a lot of luck with the Star Wars license. But Fallen Order looks like it might break that curse: “We’re trying to be faithful to Star Wars, but also we’re trying to make a fun game,” game director Stig Asmussen says.

It’s been over two and a half years since Square Enix announced that it was working with Marvel on an Avengers game, and at E3, the company finally showed us the results. What we got was mostly story-based, with a few snippets of the third-person action show in between. But it’s clear that the company has a huge vision for what it wants The Avengersto be, with promises of years of new content and characters for the title said to be in the works. It’ll launch on May 15th, 2020.

Cyberpunk 2077

It’s been a good E3 for near-mythical games, with three of the longest-teased games — Cyberpunk 2077, announced in May 2012Final Fantasy VII Remake, announced at E3 2015; and Death Stranding, announced at E3 2016, all getting actual, concrete release dates… all within the same six-month span. While new gameplay for the three titles (one of which technically was announced just before E3) was limited, the fact that we’re close to being able to play them at all feels like an achievement after so many years of waiting.

Amazon is now selling the Pavlok bracelet that promises to help you sort your life out, whether your issue is spending too much time on the internet, biting your nails or oversleeping.

Basically, every time you step out of line, the strap will give you a 350-volt electric shock, just to give you a gentle reminder.

And to give you a bit more of an incentive to be good, your mates can even download an app which means they can give you a buzz if they catch you eating an extra slice of cake or going on a spending spree.

According to the manufacturer: “Pavlok allows you to speak your reptile brain’s language by adding an unpleasant element (a safe and harmless ‘zap’ of electricity on your wrist) to what you have been taught to love (your nasty lingering habit), quickly conditioning your mind to associate an ‘unpleasant’ feeling with your bad habit… and stopping it all together.”

The device will shock wearers if they step out of line. Credit: Amazon

Priced at $199 (RM830), the Pavlok has 150 shocks per charge, so, depending how much of a rule breaker you are, it could last quite a while.

Speaking to ABC News, the inventor of the device said: “It feels like if you were to touch a doorknob after rubbing your socks on the carpet.”

He added: “There’s a real power in using a little bit of pain to help you break your bad habits.”

So far, reviews of the device have been fairly mixed, with some claiming it’s helped them change their bad habits, while others have criticised its quality.

One customer wrote: “Wrist band is a little awkward but it does allow for the contacts to be positioned closely to your skin for the best results. I’ve only used the button on the device to administer the shock.

“I can’t comment on how the hand motion function works. The app is ok and does give some information and videos on how to beat whatever habit you’re trying to break. At 100 percent on a decent charge it is more than enough of a zap to get your attention.

“I’m glad I bought it, so far I believe it is working. It’s not going to cure a lifelong issue in a few days so you have to stick to their plan and really work on it.”

Microsoft employees are being told not to prank users for fear of netting bad press, an internal memo reveals.

In the memo obtained and verified by The Verge,  Microsoft chief marketing officer Chris Capossela asks all teams at Microsoft to not do any public-facing April Fools’ Day stunts.

“It’s that time of year when tech companies try to show their creativity with April Fools’ Day stunts. Sometimes the outcomes are amusing and sometimes they’re not. Either way, data tells us these stunts have limited positive impact and can actually result in unwanted news cycles,” he says.

Capossela adds that he appreciate that people might have spent time and resources to these pranks, but the company has more to lose than gain by attempting to be funny for a day.

“Please forward to your teams and internal partners to ensure people are aware of the ask to stand down on external April Fools’ Day activities,” he says.

Some Microsoft pranks of years past included rumours of an MS-DOS OS for smartphones, a delivery service where they would physically send Outlook emails and a suite of productivity apps for cats like PowerPounce, OneNap and Meow.

NASA is paying people £14,000 (RM75,000) to spent two months in bed watching TV and reading – and there is still time to apply.

Successful applicants will have to do absolutely everything lying down – including eating and going to the loo.

They will be placed in specialised cots to test how space flight affects the human body focusing particularly on muscle waste, reports the Sun .

The study is joint with the European Space Agency and will take place at the German Aerospace Centre.

But this means there is requirement of the role – you must be able to speak German.

24 volunteers will be picked to take part, and bosses are advising participants to use the time to do online courses or learn new skills.

However there will also be  TV screens, books and other leisure activities to keep people entertained.

The beds will positioned so the legs are slightly higher than the head to reduce the blood flow, mimicking the effects of microgravity.

Lead scientist Dr Edwin Mulder, from the DLR Institute of Aerospace Medicine, told the Sun: “The use of artificial gravity might be the best solution for human health protection during human long-duration deep space missions.”

Applications close on May 24 and the tests will be taking place in September.

Apple has launched its own credit card – and the company will literally pay you to use it.

The card is both a digital card, stored in the Apple Wallet on your iPhone and supported by Apple Pay, and a physical card, made of titanium, with your name lasered onto the front.

Users can sign up for the card on their iPhone and receive it within minutes. The card is financially backed by Goldman Sachs and Mastercard, so it can be used anywhere in the world.

Apple claims the app is designed to help everyone live a healthier financial life. Like Monzo in the UK, it provides a breakdown of how much you spend each month on shopping, food and drink and entertainment.

Users can track what they’re spending day-over-day, or month-over-month, and interest is calculated in real time, to help customers make informed choices.

Apple is also offering rewards for using the card in the form of “daily cash”.

Users will get 1% cash back on anything they purchase using the physical card, 2% on anything they buy using Apple Pay on their iPhone, and 3% on anything they buy from an Apple Store.

This daily cash will be credited to their account, and they will be able to spend it, send it to a friend in Messages, or use it however they like.

Apple claims that privacy and security is integrated throughout the hardware and software.

Every purchase is authorised with Face ID or Touch ID and a one-time unique dynamic security code, preventing the card being used without your permission.

Customer support is available 24/7 by simply sending a text from Messages.

Tim Cook described it as “the most significant change in the credit card experience in 50 years”.
